Well finally got rid of all my aptasia after over a year. Now I just recently started getting red bubble algae. Before the tang police go all crazy.. what would be the best tang to eat red bubble algae out of a forty gal setup. Keep in mind I want to buy small and try to house for around six minths or so before I give him it a bigger home. So any suggestions would help. I am leaning towards a yellow eye cole tang at this moment.

I had one a while they may pick at things but in my experience with one about a year he was more of a glutten when it came to feedings but loved bubble algae... it was a one spot fox face.

If I recall rabbit fish are the only consistent eaters of odd algae like red turf, and sometimes bubble algae. You'll be better off with manual removal and emerald crabs. There is no guarantee that any fish will touch bubble alqae

I've had one and they are scavengers and constantly pick at the rocks but I've never had red bubble algae. They are awesome fish though. The only reason I no longer have one is because I wanted a Chevron instead. I would siphon out as much as you can every week with your water change.
