Anyone have any tips on a school of red fire fish in a reef? About to come across a great buy and I'm going to have 8 total. Mixed in with a regal, naso & tomini tang, red hawkfish, oc clown, royal gamma and a territorial coral banded shrimp.
I think you would be fine with 8 firefish together. But the real question is how aggressive are the fish in your tank? Firefish are very docile and can get picked on easily
You should be fine, make sure you do a roll call every once in awhile, theyre super jumpy. I had one jump the other day during a water change good thing I noticed him in time.
