I've heard a lot of debate on acclimation time for starfish. I bought 2 and acclimated for 4 hours and they are doing fine, but I've also heard anything longer than 30 mins is bad for the animal. What do you think?

Thanks :)

I think the issue with starfish is different salinity and tempature, therefore a drip method would be the way to go.

I take 2 to 3 hours just to be on the safe side, one time I put a blue linkia in my tank after about 20min. and it died right away, never had this problem sense I used the 2 to 3 hour method! OH YEA, I slowly put a little bit of water about every 10 to 15 min.
