I just set up a older Red Sea Max c250. It has the skimmer in the back and the two return pumps. It has 6 t5 bulbs. The temperature is running between 81 and 83 even with the lights off. I have heard that that is normal for these tanks will my SPS and LPS just acclimate?

Lots of Red Sea Max clubs out there. 130 and 250, or use to be. Do a search on old threads on different sites if need be and hopefully you’ll find your answers to remedy problems.

I'm going to plumb in a chiller I was told to open the hood about an inch and that would help as well. I got it down to 81
