Anybody here ever replace the built-in lights with LEDs lights? I have been researching the website for about two days to find the right LEDs. Ecoxotic is one cadidate but I am not sure how many stripe have to purchase? The Ecoxotic technical department has not answer my question yet.

At first, I was not impress with the RSM 130, it was hard to setup especially with the microbubbles issue and caused by the skimmer. I had to do simple and easy modification. Now, the issue is the heat from the lights. I believed any nano type of tanks will have this issue.

my mod was easier on the skimmer-ditch it for a tunze :D What mod did you do? Still have the skimmer laying around so wouldn't mind figuring out how to make it more functional.

and yea, overheating will always be an issue with AIO's, the higher temp lighting that the red sea runs allows it to claim to be suitable to grow some of the trickier corals, but with the higher heat, almost cancels itself out -especially on the older PC bulb ones (which is what I was working with)

well, get about 6-8 inches of rubber tubing bigger size or smaller size than the air pump outlet. Bend the tubing and inserted into the skimmer chamber, therefore the micro bubbles will be injected to the chamber.
