I decided to treat myself to an early Xmas gift this year. If anyone is interested in watching this thing come together let me know and I’ll document the build. I am just excited about the build and thought I would share. Happy reefing and Merry Xmas to all!

Following along. I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on a similar sized Waterbox after a failed Gen 1 RS 750.

Bummer , I read all about the failed RS tanks .

This one has eurobracing top and bottom With beefed up seams and glass so hopefully I don’t have a problem. 5 year warranty is nice also.

I will start the stand build tomorrow then try to find some people to help lift the tank onto the stand.

What do you base this off of ?
I think the stand you have is made of aluminum now, which is a major upgrade to their flimsy wood version. That wood deflection on their stand was causing a lot of their seam failures. I think RS has learned their lesson.

Yeah, I would not have purchased the older models due to what I read online.

Looks like they fixed the problem with this new Gen2 tank But only time will tell.
