Received a few questions regarding how I like this skimmer. I'll keep it short. like it. I like it a lot! Here is a quick pick of it in the new sump. This is just over two days worth of gunk!

Hi Nick. The Seaside was a good skimmer, but I don't think I had it dialed in or set up to provide optimal results. There wasn't/isn't much literature on the product so it was kind of a guessing game. The RO has a specific range they recommend, so it gave me a really good starting point on knowing how high to build the stand I put it on. In my case, 3 inches and it is pulling out some really black gunk! It is quieter than the Seaside, even with the Sicce pump, but not by much. The build quality in my opinion is superior. It is heavier, the connections are more sturdy, thicker acrylic is used, etc. Overall, one of the best purchases I've made for the tank!

Hope this helps!

Mike
