Well its about that time for another tank. Getting feed up with the lack of sand real estate. So what better time to switch it up. I have been running sumpless setups for over six years now. So this will be my first top to bottom build with a sump. As this will be new to me so I will probably end up like a newb all over again when it comes time to plumb. M I am currently framing my stand today. Hope to have it completed and skinned with the next week. So crossing my fingers and hope I can stay on schedule. So setup will be a 40 b with a 20 gal sump. I will be using a kessil a150 along with my reefbreeders light. Jaebo rw-8. Caribeasea special grade sand 40 pounds, 35-60 pounds rock depending on how I finish my scape. Transfering all my livestock over as well. A phosban reactor I'll be using for carbon, and still looking into a new protein skimmer. I'm trying to keep this tank as simple and user friendly as possible. Even though that doesn't always exist in our reefing world. Been a few days. I was not aware at how dry it actually is out here. Well the next morning I woke up and the previous rough frame was cracked everywhere. Everything was pre drilled properly. So it was to my surprise to wake up and have to just smh and call it bon fire wood. I had a little free time yesterday so I figured I would spend it wisely n start round 2. Everything went smoothly this time. So another frame built again. BTW I'm ecstatic to have this tank of my floor now. Got my primer coat done. And for tomorrow I will get this rolled off with a gloss coat. Then on to the skin and trim pieces. Still deciding on which stain I will be using, maybe a dark walnut. Well anyways now for a few pics of the progress. IMG_20150225_164142.jpg IMG_20150225_164148.jpg

Well that was short lived. Got a call from puck and he had his tank for sale. So I had to pick it up. Beautiful 50 gallon cube. So that is the new focus for now.
