ReefRaft Pink Floyd, Avengers, Rommels Rainbow frags FS

Sorry about the pics, struggling just to get them on here. My tank is too small for all the coral and how big everything has gotten so need to start clearing some room and selling some to do a larger build.
RR PF originally from Trojan 48. Avengers from C Declivis owner. Rommel’s from Ledreef. All frags well encrusted and starting to color up properly. Mounted on 1.5” plugs.

RRUSA PF $150/best offer
RRUSA Avengers $150/best offer
Rommels Rainbow $100/best offer

Located in South OC, PM is best.

Help me out here. You've got 4 pics but are selling 3 types. Last two look like the rommels. Are both of those for sale? Or is one the colony and the other the frag?

The pieces I have are from one frag broken up. Ledreef showed you the mc. Sorry I can't give you more than that. Thanks.

The Pinkfloyd looks different than what I have...at least the polyps look different...not dark red like it should be. Any mother pic?

They've been red in the past but I've struggled to maintain red polyps on a few of my sps. Not sure what parameter is off, part of the reason to get a bigger tank. The growth base is blue with yellow main body. I've got too much coral density atm. I bought it from Trojan 48, who split a frag purchased from two guys corals iirc.

Good price on the Pink Floyd. I got mine from Steve Garret a few weeks ago and it was a bit more...but then again the tour of the farm alone was worth what I paid for all my sticks. Thanks again Vu [MENTION=7103]tofucube[/MENTION] for the referral :thumb:

My direct answer to Ron was I purchased my initial frag a few years ago from RacinJason, he said it's Pink Floyd but did not disclose where he purchased for personal reasons. I chatted with Vu about it vouching for RacinJason and the colony. So they may have exact lineage.

Agreed. It doesn't look like the RRUSA Pink Floyd...different growth structure. That's why I asked originally. I don't believe TGC ever sold RRUSA pieces. Only RRAsia pieces.

My first RR pink Floyd came from Steve Garrett which I believe came from Cylix. Another pink Floyd I got more recently came from Chung which came from Brian @ Age. Second one definitely not the same as the first one from Steve, which I think is THE ORIGINAL PINK FLOYD from Tony @ RR USA. Second one must have been something that looks alike so was labeled that. Still nice but if we are being technical about it then it is what it is.

Only two people got original pink Floyd from me. One was from RC whom I forgot the screen name and another person is Tony (monkie)

Nah.. You got it mixed up. It's the other way around. Brian at AGE has the original RRUSA Pink Floyd. He got his frag from Tony a few years back. I don't know about Steve Garret pink Floyd because I never saw his.
I don't think the Pink Floyd posted in this thread is the RRUSA one because the growth structure is different and the colors are off. I have a nice colony of it :) see my photo thread. ... and I bought my frag from Tony@RRUSA myself. That's the only sure way of knowing its originality instead of "I bought it from this guy who got it from this guy who I believe got it from Tony" lol
There are a few versions of the Pink Floyd out there but IMO the original one from Tony@RRUSA is hand down the best looking one!

From what I heard, 2 batches came in and the first one was the original one. Second one, which I believe, is the one Brian got. So technically still from Tony but not quite the same as the first one. They are both nice and I have both. But can tell they are not the same. Not saying anyone did anything specifically, but I have seen vendors labeling a coral certain name as the one marketed previously because another one came in looking the same or similar. Again, they are both nice corals.
