So I'm paying $50 for a brown out frag hoping for a chance to win $200 store credit....and Reef Raft get $1000 for getting rid of the brown out frags? It seems the winner here is Reef Raft!
If this contest is conducted in the best interest of the fellow reefers...the winner should get $1000 in cold hard cash not $200 store credit.
I guess if you don't want to participate I will spend $50 end up with 3 frags and a $200 credit to the shop!
I've had a few brown frags become really nice when colored up. Jownwin has one of my browned out reef raft pieces that colored up white w yellow coralites. Its like a $50 grab-bag.
U need to ditch the VHOs and pickup a couple 80w t5s. A pair of ATI Blue+ will get u what u need. Or even a coral+ and a blue+. Just turn down ur whites a little bit

This is a RETAIL STORE guys, not a non-profit. The guy has a mortgage to cover just like you or I.
Though considering how expensive the inventory is I doubt $200 will go very far, so I do agree that the prize should have been more generous.
Heck, I give away over a thousand dollars worth of door prizes, out of my own pocket.
In any case, I'm not much of an SPS guy but I'LL JOIN IN just for the fun!
If by some miracle I win, I'll donate the store certificate to a low-income hobbyist.
