Reusing frag plugs

Do any of you use your old frag plugs? Like if a coral dies, do you reuse the plug after removing the dead coral? If so what do you use to clean them? I was thinking of soaking in hydrogen peroxide.

I do. Dont clean them other than the surface the coral was sitting on/will sit on

Do you just scrub it with like a hard bristle brush or soak in anything?

I reuse mine as well, I only scrape the surface the coral is getting glued to.

Nope. You are way overthinking it. For that amount to time and. Work, Id just get new ones. They are like a nickel or 10 cents online.

1:1 bleach and RODI water, rinse in rodi water and let them dry on the sun for several days
