Finally finished this project I’ve been working on.
No magnets, Very simple but also very versatile.

I have them for 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, and 1 inch glass.
Drop sizes from 4.5 inches, 6 Inches, and 8 Inches from the top of the rim down.

For 5$ more I can include 2 more legs which you can take any generic egg crate, cut it down the size you need and you can throw in even more real estate in a tank to grow corals.

35$, Pick up 91761 or 91739 or I’ll throw it in USPS for 5$.

Last pictures are of a variation I did for my raceway lip for example on how much space you can add minimally with these.

Cool design with the attached frag rack!

Does it stay on the edge of the rack because I have a hang on box that had thumb screws to ensure it stays put?

Ahhh, Its a snug fit on the rim, Not a fan of using screws. I made it to be simple. Yeah it might move a little with strong flow but I have a Panta Rhei 63 in my raceway and they dont move at all and its very loose fitting on the raceway. Its a just simple cheap alternative to wanting to add some frag rack to a tank and not wanting to put magnets inside your water.
