I'm thinking of going with s snowflake pair this time around, something different evefy time theres a mortality I guess :elefant:
That's what I have now. But I don't have a nem. I have never been able to get captive bread to host a nem but wild caught just dive right into them. I know some people have got them to host but it's never happened for me. I wanted a pair of phantoms but my wife liked the snowflake.

Can you post a pic of your snowflakes, want to see a live pair someone has currently. What type are they, where did you get them & price if you don't mind? I may try what cody said a few comments above, hang a basket on the side & throw the clowns in there with the nem a few weeks

Here's my pair tending their clutch of eggs.. Got them as juvis from another hobbyist, prob $80/80 for the pair a few years ago .. Might have some tank bred Juvi available in next couple months ( my friend mosquared and I are giving raising them a go ) :) love them.. When they're not nipping my hand if I get to close to their Nem! Lol

Those are some sick looking clowns!! Very similar to black-ice, really leaning on picking up a pair of these now. The nipping part I don't mind, my lightning that just died must of been the worse at that hands down

Holy crap!! I just found my lightning clown in my filter sock along with a lawnmower blenny. Still both alive, just got the blenny a couple weeks ago but the clown has been in the overflow for a while and guessing just recently got sucked thru the line and both ended up in my filter sock. Zoarder what do you thinks its chances of survival are? Hasn't ate for a month, still swimming and a bit of fin rot in the tail

If he hasn't been eating for a month he be dead. Watever been going to your sump he was eating. Try putting him in an acclimation box and feed it.

Must of been the excess food that makes it into the overflow, both seem ok
I threw the lawnmower blenny back into the display, but the lightning into my sump since he looks a bit beat up in comparison to the blenny. Think I may leave him in there a few days, plus I need to get a true perc I bought out of there now. Bought a wild caught to see if it would host my nem and did so within a day, need to get em out and hopefully the lightning will host now that the tang is not in there anymore
