I setup my system yesterday and was having problems with my hose out side leaking, changed faucets and I got more pressure...but still not enough? Is it normal for homes to have low pressure or not enough for an RO system? It is a 6 stage RO+DI system 100gpd...but im only producing a gallon or two every few hours. Do I need a booster pump? Will I get more PSI if plumbed under the sink? Thanks...

I have mines setup with a booster pump I only had about 50psi I think you need a minimum of 90psi for the RO/DI to work properly.

I figured, ok, so I need to get a booster pump. Will do, thanks.

So is the water I am producing now not as clean as it should be? Can I still use it?

I think my problem was that I did not have the drain open at all. Would that have been the problem? New to the whole in-house RO thing, didnt know there was waste water. But the drain is open now and it is moving faster than before. I will do the math after it fills up this 5g container and see what I am getting.

Yea I have everything hooked up all good. I just called ( duh ) and they guy said it is required to have the draing valve open and when the tank is full the drain will stop automatically.

Ill see how this goes, hopefully it makes water faster and I dont need a booster pump.

Thanks for all your help I will let you know how it goes after a while.
