my Ro/Di unit went out on me today i was wondering if there is any place where i can get ro water also has anyone ever teseted the water that is dispensed outside of grocery stores like the ones are 25cents a gallon
Those dispensers are only $.25/gallon? I'm sure I'm spending way more than that plus "waste water" that goes to my plants. What type and how big are the containers you fill up using these machines?
I just bought 10g from a Glacier dispenser and tested it with my TDS meter when I got home. It read 15ppm. I usually get a reading of 0ppm from my 3 stage RO/DI unit. does this reading seem normal for these machines? Do you think I will have any issues by switching. I will only use for top off water.

I dont know if it normal but I never forund one with 0 tds. If they change the filters and it has low tds reading IMO I would good for lps but I stared to do alot better with sps when I bought my own ro-DI sys. Oh and I think those machines sre not DI only RO. I also blame that water to nuisance algae outbreaks but thats just my experience hth.
there's this local water shop that doesn't put back minerals for taste... i notice that when i use other water shops or water dispensers i get algae blooms... sick ones... i trust this spot...
