RODI Lid Stuck to Container

As the title says, I went to switch out my DI resin this past weekend and I cannot remove the lid from the container. Since the local water from the tap is pretty good, I can usually get about 9-10 months easily out of the resin. However, now the lid is stuck. I tried using the container wrench, but the screws start to bend the plastic frame and I'm afraid it's going to crack. I also tried removing the screws and soaking the lid under hot water. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.

Take it off the metal mount and have another person on one side and youll get it off

Leave it soaking in hot water for a few minutes. The wrench you are using, get a long piece of steel and stick it to the end of the wrench and then apply force to the far end of the steel, this will increase the torque.
