Very nice set up...I like your light rail, very clean looks. Mind to share why you have your AI Sol mounted vertically instead of, horizontally. There is shaddow on both end of your tank. It might provide more coverage with the horizontal, IMO.

Where did you pick up your dry rock and what type of rock is it? I'm digging the aquascape and look of the rock pieces.

thanks for the skimmer tips! seems like I got it dialed in perfectly or it finally broke in, its skimming nice and brown. finally got some better pics of my tank rather then my iphone pics...here they are!

love this view from my couch...

gotta upload pics of the clowns and other stuff still.

budy, thanks mang! Love your corals btw! Newe, I like the clean look mounting it from the back and I don't mind the shadows at the ends. I think it adds a nice space for corals that work with low lighting. Actually the honest truth is I couldn't afford two lights LMAO! But I dig the look anyway! Dvalen, it's reefcleaners rock and yes the rock is awesome. So many possibilities with the shapes and nice porous rock. I scaped wih a cardboard box 100 times and went with the random scape I did last inside the tank after sand was put in and came up with what I have now lol! Will post some updated pics soon! Dealing with some cyano and being patient sucks!

It's a sad sad day a RRockys shallow reef today...came home and noticed only one clown sleepin in there usual corner...found the female on the floor...

Need a screen net ASAP. Is BRS the best place to get one? Super sad :( They paired up since day 1 and were hosting a big rock of zoas LOL! What's the best way to add another clown??

Aww man that sucks. I think you'll be fine, especially if your other clown is male. You can just drop another clown in there no problem.

an old freng of mine who turns out to have a nice reef of who owns hooked me up with this one. didn't know what they were since they were closed.

things cleared up nicely!

FTS

added a couple more corals a couple days ago but im still acclimating them to the leds'. got most of the coral from Ellis Aquatics in compton, and the SPS store. I really wanna go to reef lounge but my hours and their hours don't mix well lol plus its so **** far from me! replaced the jumper clown with a new premium black ice clown from tony last night. woke up this morning and he seems happy swimming along side the other clownfish! looking to give one of my chromis away, pm if interested. its gonna be a biatch to catch tho lol!

iPhone art lol

Got some zoa eating nudis I'm battling with...using revive and one colony is recovering well but the other is takin longer. I think they both need one more dip. Gonna try a lugols dip this time. Been on the lookout for a healthy female leopard wrasse but no luck yet, with lfs and close by...might just get a dragonette. Added a Midas blenny, she's awesome! Also replaced my clown that jumped with a premium black ice which is doin well. I'll get better pics up soon!

Hmm... TBH I've never had experience with the coris. But I know sixlines can get really really really mean to other fish. I personally think they're the devil... they even have red eyes! But are great for frag tanks.

I've seen a lot of people have yellow coris wrasse, and haven't heard much about aggression from them. I think you should be safe. If in doubt, get the leopard first and then the coris. :)

So I got some new fish! Super stoked about this leopard wrasse! She was out and about after about 45 min of acclimation. Blenny seemed to have found his home. Will feed some brine shrimp maana and see how the leopard does with it. Any tips on keeping the leopard healthy?

iPhone pics

Got some algae problems and I'm tryin my best not to use any chemicals. I vacuumed the sump a bit and hope that helps. Workin on gettin a desktop or laptop soon so I can upload my pics from my dslr cam.

Dunno what happened to the pic of the bicolor blenny but I found a couple old pics of my clowns and bully chromis. I have two chromis that were the same size. The bully grew big and the other one was close to death and small. Now the small one made a comeback and looks healthy and is growing too, so less bullying goin on between them. The big chromis thinks he's a clown apparently and loves hanging around them lol

some pics of my fave fish at the time. my midas blenny and kole tang! the blenny was such a great fish! very active and fun to watch. faka made it through my screen top tho :( me and my girl heard a thump...couple minutes later i checked out the tank and didnt see him...found him under the couch, but when i tried to pick him up he flopped around! tried to perform powerhead cpr and he came back! we had to leave and when we came back we found him dead on the sandbed. so sad! kole tang on the other hand just dropped dead one day...he showed no signs of distress, and was eating pellets. he was very active as well, we got him from CK fish world which is a great store imo.
