It's sounds like he's going to frag some today, kyle.ochoa1.

Let me know when they're ready Matt. Is your sps tank up and running now?

I'm using BeanMachines old maristar fixture. 2-250w mh, 4-54w t5 and led. Loving it. I'm going to pick up some Phoenix and ati bulbs this week.

It's weird algae. Kinda looks like Dino's, but it happens every time I put a new rack in. Maybe the rack leaches silicates or something. I can siphon it right off. You can see it to the right of this purple poison shortcake colony.

New eggcrate leaches styrene which is causing the algae breakout you speak of. Its best to not run your lights for about a week after you put in the new eggcrate to avoid this problem

I have not been to Matt's Fly5150 place for a couple of months now. He sure always have a ton of goodies available. I would also be interested for a frag of ur blue monster too.
