Hey Local Reefers,

I am sad to share the news that a very good local reefer, Scott Berman, passed away on Tuesday morning. Scott was a great friend to those with fish tanks. Always willing to help out. Always willing to talk fish. Always willing to share what he was growing. There is going to be a celebration of life for him on Sunday Oct29th at noon. If you would like the address please message me before the 29th.

Sorry to share this news.

Man that’s some sad news. Rest in peace, Scott - It was a pleasure to hang out with you at the ole Encino Frag swaps in the early 2000’s.

Damn, sorry to hear, RIP Scott. I met Scott about 20 years ago at Dave frag swap, great guy, friendly, and very knowledgeable about this hobby. My condolences to his families.

I remember when he bought a 40b from me. We started texting about the tank, which only lasted for one or two texts, then we spun off in acropora land and we texted for the next couple of hours. Then when he stopped by, we chatted for at least another hour about the hobby. He was super cool and cut from the same old school cloth, so it was a pleasure to get to know him. I think we chatted a few more times, but we definitely lost one of the good ones here.
