So last week I traded my corals for a tang from one of the socal members on here. At first I saw the fish was super skinny and a little beat up so I thought the reason was from the person trying to catch the fish. I was hoping I can bring the fish back to being healthy again, but that was not the case. I didn't know if the was sick or not so I put it in my DT and the next couple days my PBT got sick and died, then the next day my unicorn, vlamingi, and midas blenny, and so yesterday i lost my sargassum trigger and blonde naso. None of my fishes had ich. All of the fishes were very healthy so I don't know what was the cause of this and basically I only have a 6 line wrasse, mystery wrasse, file fish. The next 3 fishes will probably die yellow tang, blue tang, and engineering goby.

I'm thinking of shutting down the tank, but before I do I have a question for you guys. Do you guys know what happen?

U should take out the survivors and put them in a hospital tank for treatment. They won't last long if it's velvet.
ok thanks
i also have another question. let me know if I dosed correctly. I set up a 10 gal hospital tank and when I looked at the direction for copper dosage. It said 1 fluid ounces per 20 gal. 1 fluid ounce = 29 mL. so 10 gal must be half so I put in 14 mL. Do you think that's too much copper?

thanks

Sorry to hear, always QT your fish. I would remove the fish and set up a quarantine. Place them in there and leave your tank fallow. Hold of on buying any fish for a while.

I don't know what Velvet is but it sounds bad. Sorry for your loss. I lost all my fish except for an onyx clown before and it sucked.

Boys boys lets not start this.

Also, no more profanity or trying to avoid the filter please. You can use foul language in person, just not here. Thanks.
