Same for me, never had any issues with Instant Ocean. If you want the levels to be a little higher, you could also try Reef Crystals. Both great salts, but honestly I'm keeping SPS without issue using IO, although I would consider my Calcium demand to be medium.

No salt will be perfect but I use Instant ocean and mix to 1.025 then just use.

How is the residue with IO? I currently use Red Sea Pro, but the residue is annoying and the price is high, imo. I have used Reef Crystals, Brightwells and DD H2Ocean and all have residue. I dose the big 3 anyways so salt levels on those does not matter to me. I would love to save some $$$ and not have to deal with dirty buckets every week if I could. Thanks, Dave

I just finished a 55g bucket of Red Sea Coral Pro... parameters spot on, but it left a residue on my 55g mixing bucket. It would have been perfect... $20 for a 55g bucket... no measuring... but it messes my clear mixing tank...

I was about to buy a 200g water container so I could mix up 200g buckets of Tropic Marin Bio Activ... the parameters were also spot on...my corals really liked that and the skimmer was of the heeezy. But the $99 dollar per bucket.. yikes

Well its back to TMP, $75 per bucket... with the low alk (7-8), low ca (350-400)... low mag (1250)... time to supplement... siggghhhhhh....
