You can also ask someone for a bit of their "used" live sand to seed your sand. Chances are that the LR you put in will take care of that for you but it's not unheard of to mooch some fellow reefer's sand for like a cup to seed a brand new tank.
And Jason's a good dude (TRFS) ...hit him up. He's always been really helpful to me and given me some smoking deals when I'm out there. Only bummer for me is that he's so far from Long Beach.
