now - a 2004 SVS.. >_< it's such a slow bike on the road. i'm hoping it feels faster in the mountains. I haven't been to any canyon runs in like 6 years.
Haha dude I've been riding or going across Ortega since before I could even drive. Does not scare me. GMR is fun and so is Palomar.
I used to like GMR, but there's just nothing like palomar. I still remember every turn on that mountain.

After not riding for a few years, I feel like I'm starting all over again. I used to live in carbon canyon, and would ride my bike daily. So every day was a canyon ride. I used to get real low.

My new bike has a "commuter" tire on the rear so I'm kinda sketch about trying to hit the corners hard. I used to run the Bridgestone Battlax BT016, which I liked a lot. They were real sticky. My bike now has a Battlax BT022 or something like that. Supposed to be harder rubber in the center, and softer on the sides. I just put a new chain and sprockets on the bike, and went up 2 teeth in the rear. Super fun to ride.

I got the sv as a commute bike from long beach to Santa Monica. I'm ashamed whenever I look at my tires.

When I had my gsxr and the r1, the chicken stripes on the side would be completely gone, and the center would still have them after 1k miles...

Yeah. The few times I wheelie on accident have been on the track, and they almost always result in a tank slapper. No thanks.

The company's name is chem-tainer industries. They're located in Compton. I talked to the guy, and he said to call and talk to the salesmen. And that they will usually let u order direct from them. He said containers like mine are normally in stock. Or they will build it within a few days. He said to check prices with plastic-mart.com and tank depot.com because sometimes they might have cheaper prices. And like on my 65g tank, I didn't have to pay taxes because I ordered it through platicmart. Any just. Just thought I would pass on that info
