My bleeding apple appears to be receding a bit, will feeding it more help? I feed blood worms every week or so. Could it be the lighting? I was told not too much lighting so I put it slightly under an oerhang, but barely, still gets almost full light except about 1/8 area. Sorry, no pics. And help is appreciated. Thanks...

Thanks for the reply, Esteban. I'm gonna feed it more often, skeleton is just slightly showing through on the side most sheltered from the light. I have it on the sandbed with 250w phoenix 14Ks running 5 hours per day

Here's with my Evo. You can tell a little bit in the top left how it is receding a bit. Should I move it into full light?

Can't hurt to try. Maybe some creature on the rock is chomping away on the tissue. But I say it's a starvation thang. Aussie stuff can be sensitive.

I keep mine in full light twin 150 metal halides. It's in the sand bed about 20 inches from the lights. I feed it Five Star fish food once a week and it's doing really well. Had it about 6 months. It has doubled in size. I also keep it in low flow. Hope this helps. Your perams all look in order too.

Well, I see a tear getting bigger on it? Can it recover? Fed RR this morning. Going to get some other coral food from Chad tomorrow(or tues) if he's open...

It's not opening wide at night like it used to...

Thanks Jesse, but not worried about pests, it is definitely malnourished, noticing improvement on other side since feeding more..
