Hey SCRK!

The next Southern California Reef Keepers meeting will be Sunday, November 17th, 2013 at Age of Aquariums in Signal Hill!

This month will be a potluck. So bring your favorite food to share. Please post what you will bring. We will have some really good raffle prizes this month along with live goods. We are still working on a speaker and will announce once it has been confirmed.

We will have a frag tank for members to buy, sell or trade corals. So if you are a member and have anything you would like to sell, bring it with you. You do not need to be a member to buy just to sell. Membership is just $25 a year.

You don't have to be a member to attend the meeting so come on out!

When: Sunday, November 17th, 2013
Where: Age of Aquarium
2642 Cherry Ave, Signal Hill CA

Time: 6pm-9pm

Remember Age of Aquarium will be giving all members 15% off of all live goods and 10% off of all dry goods.

So if you have never been out to one of our club meetings or it has been a while since the last time you were out you wont want to miss this one.

I'm there!

I've noticed that a lot of folks have trouble getting their Apex setup via remote access. If you want I might be able to put together a presentation to go through the process. It varies depending on hardware and ISP but the concepts are the same all around and maybe a Q&A session will help some people out. Just a thought...let me know with enough time to get a presentation put together.

I plan to go. Not sure what I'll bring though.

Anyone have a yellow coris wrasse or two they want to sell or trade? I know a long shot but I want a pair for my display.

Also a piece of Green Slimer or good starter acros so I can try my hand at some sticks. Nothing fancy looking for $5 frags hehe

I think they do Jan-Dec. I'm sure if you bring food they'll let you eat.

Its good for the calendar year... Jan through December traditionally. No matter when you purchase it. But being November we can discuss it at the meeting and possibly make an exception. I don't know if there will be a December meeting so it would make sense to do that.

Yeah but either way come out, bring a dish or something to snack on for the potluck, and have a good reefing time. All are welcome member or not.

The meeting usually run to about 8:30-9:00.

Omar will be giving a presentation on controllers and how to properly set up an Apex controller. Also we will have a nice big Hang on Back Refugium in the raffle. If you plan to bring something please post up what you will bring. Club will supply plates and forks. please do post what you will bring so we don't all end up with Sodas.
