Sea Side Aquatics ES1 Hang On Back Clear Protein Skimmer

Anyone have any insights on this skimmer? I have been running one for almost a month know, and the microbubbbles and overflowing continue. Its acting like its the first day I turned it on.....

How big is your tank and bioload?

It's kind of a weird design with the bubble trap on the outlet slide. Is there a way to put the bubble trap inside the body, lower on the outlet side?

I loved my CPR bakpak from the 90's, especially when you added an extra wooden airstone to it. They weren't pretty, but they actually did a pretty good job. You might be better off using a Tunze in-tank skimmer and sacrifice some tank space? I thought I saw someone selling one here the other day?

yeah...having real issue finding the right skimmer......I still have a CPR also...maybe I'l DIY it into a re-circulating one.....
