I wasn't expecting this brood for another week! Well, diesel got busy on the DL and must have gotten the hookup as soon as I added the new girls! I woke up late and saw ONE in my dt.. Checked my skimmer, found 7 more in the cup! So spent the ENTIRE morning tearing apart my sump, and picking thru a gigantic pile of Chaeto to end up with maybe 90 babies.. Only left with 45 or so survivors .. But I'm sure my firefish pair and Mandy ate WELL this morning cause all are fat now!
Here's the batch this time around.. Enjoy :)

usually yes.. i saw it too.. really tempted but I am hesitant to mix species due to disease etc that can effect one but not the other. Best to keep at 73-74* to avoid infections :)

Holy crap it's still so small! What are you feeding them? How much and how often? I bet you have a crazy water change schedule. Hahaha

AMAZING!!! I love seahorses. Had em once. They remind me of my Granny, who used to keep them. She was old school and dived for them.

I feed them live copepods. Specifically euterpina acutifrons and Parvocalanus crassirostris. Both cultures are fed Tetraselmis and T ISO. Culturing the copepods and in enough numbers is the hard part. I sleeve them from their cultures and eye ball it. I currently am feeding out about twice a day, 3 times if I can. I eye ball it ... you just kind of see if theres enough food for everyone or not, and if they have full bellies. WC is every 48 hours. Not too bad actually.
