Seaside Aquatics is a distributor of many products, not just acrylic products. Lots of reefers give great product reviews of their bubble magus skimmers. This is probably worth going to if your looking for something.

Now if you want better quality, don't be cheap and go European. ;)

I would bring cash and Tom is a distributor for many brands. A few years back he was blowing out many dry good lines he was not moving and the prices were great. I got ATI bulbs for $10 each, Ecobak for $10 per liter, and he had the Ceramico blocks and Frag plugs I got a good deal on as well. He is aggressive on pricing stuff that is not moving, good deals on everything else he carries. He does carry Ecotech, Neptune, and Tunze so he does have quality as well as the cheaper stuff. With that said I used a CS-2 skimmer of his for years with great results, he uses Sicce pumps and they are great skimmers. A knock off of an ATB with a nice pump and cheaper material.

Good eye but IMO I never cared for thier quality. Especially thier acylic products.
Its unfortunate that its not up to your standards. We strive get quality products from our overseas partners to provide it at the lowest cost. Our ownership and office staff are all hobbyist first and understand whats it like to be involved in this hobby on a budget. However, not providing all the bells and whistles to keep the product cost down for the end users sometimes doesn't impress reef aficionado like yourself.

I have a nano tank from them, and it had a design flaw with the return...

I'm a bit perplex, we only have 1 Tank model. It hasn't even had a product launch, almost all production is still at our warehouse. Though it is an All-in-one tank, however I am perplexed as how a pump, vinyl tubing and 90 degree fitting is a design flaw? Its a standard universally used All-in-one return that everyone else has.

Not sure if this got posted already but just saw this on CL. 12/12 from 11-3.

Thanks for the find, I was going to do a formal thread on here, but ya beat me to it. ;-)

Hahaha, thanks Bean your statement is almost entirely true. Yes, the European items often'/always are more expensive, but you would be surprised how many are importing from China and relabeling "made in **European country**" to send over here through the Atlantic. Bean, I got a hilarious pictures from China to show you. So many are doing it now, you just can't tell anymore.

Further more regarding the "Scratch and Dent" Sale. If you're looking for high end equipment for your "SPS Tank" this is definitely NOT the event. We got tons of aquatic goods and gadgets at exceptional bargain prices that needs new homes. Some need a little fixing, some don't but all rock bottom prices. Lots of skimmers and other items. Its great for bargain hunters and reefers on a budget.

Last year, the door buster were 25 units of DC pump Cone Skimmers rated for 400 gal (MSRP $549) for $120. Lets see what we can come up with this year.

I should've been more specific, The fish traps and the dosing containers are the product I have had problems with in the past. The acrylic on the fish traps are really thin and flimsy. As for the the fish traps, I didn't really care for the acrylic hinges that hold the trap door. I had 2 out of the 3 break on me. I got no other experience with your other line of product.
The link below is our Fish Trap. This is the ONLY model we sold for the past 3 years. It has no "hinges" and the only moving parts are the Sliding trap door and food tube. The acrylic on this is actually as thick as the US made brands

TypicalWhiteAZN How do you purchase from your website? Do you have an option for online purchases? I went through the list of online vendors that sell Sea Side Aquatic products but none have Sea Side Aquatics Nano Skimmer. Will this be available during the warehouse sale?

Unfortunately there are no online purchasing options for hobbyist because we are a wholesaler to stores and respect that relationship. Event like these are the few times we offer items to hobbyist at rock bottom prices given their conditions. There are a few nano types that have been discontinued, I can't confirm yet whether they will be available.

See the hinges on top, Those are the ones im talking about.
That's an acclimation/utility box, I don't know who sold it to you as a fish trap, but its not what its design for. With the removable baffle, there's a huge spectrum of uses for it.

1) acclimating new fish into a system with establish Fish
2) Getting Clowns to host Sea Anemones
3) Housing Sea Horses in a main system
4) separating wandering anemones in a coral system
5) Temporary housing for inverts
6) Feeding finicky eaters like file fish, dwarf lionfish, and certain wrasses
7) refugium with separation of macro varieties
8) reattaching mushrooms and leathers onto calcium media
9) Clown fish breeding box

I'm broke but still setting up a new tank so I will definitely try to make it down there. :D
Looking forward to your visit!

Ewww and Ahhh, I'll be there. Hopefully there will be some BM dosing heads to swoop on. Possibly a skimmer as well.

I have the bubble magus curve 9 on my fowlr and it works really well.

I also have a "sea side aquatics nano cube" that can be found on seasideaquatics.com reference code 30MCB. I found the return hole placement to be too high causing some splashing. I also had a hard time finding a flare nozzle to fit what it came with, so i just ended up using some opaque water tubing that i sanded down. Nothing major but if it came with a flare nozzle, a lower return hole placement or a slightly weaker pump, this wouldnt be an issue. I was just expecting a true plug and play from an nice looking aio

Some Latino guy at I Got Corals sold to me as a Fish Trap. Its a good trap I just added fishing string to the door. The hinges on top were the only problem but its cool. No worries.
You have to speak to him in Spanish.
