I am looking to buy a rodi booster pump to increase the water pressure for my old SpectraPure 75GPD system. I am looking for recommendation on which brand to buy that is durable and reliable. Thanks.

I've been using the Aquaticlife Buddie Booster for a while now. I like that it's Plug and Play

Hi,
I noticed your in AV as well. What Rodi system are you using? We are looking into it but not sure what to use since we live in a condo.

I use a SpectraPure 75GPD ro/di system. It wastes lots of water so I want to add the 150 GPD water saver upgrade kit for faster output and reduce water waste. But it requires a minimum of 65psi to operate, so a booster pump is needed.

For those using the Smart Buddie pump, I have a question for you. The water source goes into the pump then back out into the membrane to increase water pressure. this part makes sense to me. But I don't understand why the filtered and waste water tubes have to be connected to the pump then go back out to the drain and the clean water container. Would it be easier just to run these tubes directly to the drain and water container without connecting them to the pump?

I believe it's for the flow restricted and auto flush and for it to sense pressure change other wise the pump will be on indefinitely
