Nice!!! Why did you go with 4" sock instead of 7"???

Mainly because of the size of the sump. 7" filter socks are about 16" tall. This whole sump is 16" tall. If I used 7" filter socks, they wouldn't be able to hang from the sock holder. They would actually hit the bottom of the sump and not sit flush in the filter sock holder.

Oh ok. I have a 16.5" tall sump John made for me with 7" sock holder and yes it does hit the bottom but he made the holder perfect and sit flush all the time. Sell me that sump and order another one with 7" sock. LOl J/k

Skimmer is foaming real nice. Had to make a few adjustments with the water level and starting to tune the skimmer a bit.
