Thanks, my tank is about 6 month old since the upgrade. At first I did have a major hair algea outbreak even with phosban reactor running, I switched from Ocean pure pro salt to coralife it seems it helps a lot but it could also because the tank is more mature. Most of the equipments such as ca. reactor, kalk. reactor, skimmer...are DIY stuffs.

not too sure what's going on with it, but I think it started when i tried dosing some strontium... some corals' tissues started turning white with little to no polyp extension. I think its getting better now after some big water changes, but we'll see... crossing my fingers haha.

The tank is Lee Mar 225g and the light is Geismann Spectra from Germany with 3 AquaConnect 14k 250w

I just ordered a Geisemann Spectra to go with my Lee-Mar 225. Actually it's for my next tank. I ended up getting it for less than yours Tony.

You will love it....I just replace the T5 Giesemann POWERCHROME Pure Actinic 420nm 80watt bulbs....to go with AquaConnect 14K. T5 Giesemann POWERCHROME Actinic Plus + 22k 80watt will be use with the Radium 20K bulbs next years.
