Today some gracilaria I ordered for my tank arrived but I noticed some weird amphipods attached to the algae so I emptied the bag into an unused goldfish bowl to have a closer look. After some research it appears these strange amphipods could be skeleton shrimp. They look kind of disturbing. Does anyone have any experience with these strange pods? I am reluctant to let them go in my tank.
