Skimmer for 150g

Hi,

My NAC 8 is just not cutting it for my moderate bio load 150g with 40g sump. Looking for a good solid skimmer that does not take up a lot of space in sump. Before I go to BRS I thought I would try here.

replaced the pump with a mag drive 9.5 and added an elbow works like a champ I had it running my 150g rated for 250g

Really did not want to go past 12" x 12". No problem with height. I'm open as to budget as long as I get a good deal.

Nic, how old is the pump? Do you get a good quality of micro bubbles with the mag drive?

Rick eye reef is selling a vertex for like 450 its a beast i run aquamaxx cone series as you know they work great as well you need something rated for 250 gallons with the bio load in your tank

Chris, which store are you talking about? I definitely could go for a Vertex if I can get a good deal. I was looking at Aquamaxx as well, I have their biopellet reactor and love the build quality.

Its to the top look under selling dry goods or look at your timeline it will be there he even has a nice atb which is what i want lol its better than vertex but his doesnt have the origional pump
