I have an ASM protein skimmer running on my 100. I have a chance to pick up a Bubble Magus rated for up to 180. I plan on having a heavily stocked tank and was wondering your thoughts are on the BM. Or should I just stay with the ASM. Thanks
ASM is a tried and true design. It's not the most power efficient because of the pump but it works really well. And when it comes to rating for skimmers, I usually try to go with double of what your water volume is going to be. Which BM model is it?
