I'm so freakin' mad at myself my Kenys tree fell in the back and got stucked on one of the koralias and caused the collection cup to overflow back in the sump! I meant to clean the cup the day before but I was running late for work so I didn't. Question is, has this ever happened to you and how bad is it for the system when all that crap is back in the tank?

No experience with this. If kenya trees release toxins like other leathers it might be a good idea to run some carbon asap. Hope everything else is okay. Oh and since muck got back into the tank I'd do a water change as well. Good luck...hopefully someone with actual experience can chime in.

No experience with shredding a soft coral (knock on wood) but I had my skimmer overflow one day because it kinda leaned over a bit and caused the foam level to rise. I just cleaned it and let it re-collect all the stuff it dumped. Since it was pretty dirty I just added a filter sock to help collect everything too. Not much you can do. Like reefomeez said, maybe perform a water change and add carbon

Now I'm really nervous about my kenyas... they're right next to my powerhead ... I need to get home NOW... I hope everything in your tank does okay... I would definitely toss some carbon in the tank though.

Thanks, yeah make sure you move it away from the pump it's like a nem getting sucked up by the pump and blending it :) lol
