I've only seen one metal stand that was skinned that actually looked pretty cool. Hit up Aaron at SPS coral store.

Give Mike at Socaltropicafishoutlet a call. He has great prices on Leemar steel stands. Skinning a metal stand is pretty easy if you have the right tools. There are a few ways to do it but just make sure you have a game plan, budget, and a design you want first. I'd first look at some existing designs for inspiration and then post a pic of it. That will give us a better idea of what needs to be done to give some advice
