Wish I had your skills, I'd love to get a Scopas tang in here as well. This kole is somewhat of a prick so I don't think that'll fly. Unless you have a tip for me?

I'd like to add 3-5 anthias depending on type and a CBB. That'll complete the tank for me

I may give that a go. Not sure about 2 tangs in a 100 though. What types of anthias were you keeping? I love those tiger queens amd thinking of giving them or sunsets another shot. I love Bartlett's but they always seem to get aggressive.

Nice scape Matt. Wanna scape my tank? :)
Haha thanks David. Setting up a new tank?

Big that's to Will (bustayanky) for hooking it up yesterday. I picked up two frags , a Diobalic Pacman and AOA chemical warfare.

I'm just drooling over this!

What is the coral in the bottom left of the two last pics?

Thank you Tyrone!

That would be a miami hurricane chalice. One of my favorite pieces in the tank. It has me thinking of trying a few more chalices. I lost a "gold member" chalice a while back that I got from A Chance of Coral, along with a few others.

Well apparently my wrasses didn't get my aiptasia eating nudibranchs, at least not this one. I saw him on the glass fairly early, right when the lights turned off last night, and now hes out with the lights on this morning. I see no aiptasia in my tank so I'm guessing hes starving out.

Going to try and catch him if I see it tonight. Looks pretty big, maybe an inch.

I'll take him if your getting rid!? I got a few small ones a couple weeks ago and they don't seem to be doing the job.
That looks amazing. Mine is just in too high of light I think so it's much lighter.
Interesting.. Mine is up fairly high too. I also run Halide/T5. Was thinking about hitting you up to see your system. Your stuff looks really great. I also read that you run a calcium reactor on the thread the Ev'e OGFrenchHorn started. Kinda wanted to pick your brain a bit. Been thinking about DIYing a knockoff of possibly the Geo reactor with a tweak or 2.
You ever go to the SCMAS meetings? These is one tomorrow and I'll be there.....

I told a friend we would watch their son tomorrow night so I wont be able to make it. I do want to go to them in the future though. They sound great.

You're welcome to stop by and check the tank out & talk reef. My sps are in a slump from a nutrient spike but look to be coming back around... I hope :).

Pulling the GFO and removing the majority of the GHA in the tank let my ATS get some growth going. This is just under 3 weeks in I believe. Did a real light scrape rinsed in ro and put it back in. I moved my light intensity up to 75% and increased the duration to 15 hours a day.

Anyone have an opinion on whether this female wrasse is going sub - male on me? Not sure. I'd like to have a pair, I'm thinking itd be better to add a female at this point. Opinions?

Def looks to be going male to me..
You really should come to a meeting. They are fun and interesting.

I may hit you up over the weekend to see if you are around to talk Reef. I'll shoot you a PM as soon as I know what my schedule looks like.

Phone pic update - somethings up with my good camera, putting a red haze across the top of all photos, just sucks.

Starting to get some color back in my sps. I'm pretty sure I had my ATI too close to the water. I've raised it from 6" to 11" above the water line. Its been about 6 weeks and I'm starting to see some color return but polyp extension increased immediately. Some of my yellows are tinted green now so I think I'll lower it an 1" and observe once all my sticks regain color.

Still battling that **** GHA & bubble algae. I've held off on removing more sand as its just another place for GHA to grow.

I won a CaliKid Coral bid on a monti and picked up 2 others as well - Devgru - pink with turquoise polyps not sure of the other. Copper/orange with pink polyps, pretty sweet. Also picked up a rainbow monti. If I can get them to hold color and do well down low I'll be selling most my z&p to fund some more.
