Nice, thanks for sharing. However, I don't understand what you meant by "took a crap" and what did you do to fix it? From the picture I guess you meant the cable was ripped and you re-soldered those?

I wish. I just did last year. LBC getting gentrified
It stopped working completly so i desoldered the cable shortened it up resoldered and all fixed i tested the wire and found where the break was inside the insulating and shortened it up and it works

Mine died recently too, sent it in and cost $35 for repair.
the wire they use are so cheap and thin.
Was it outta warranty? I called them numerous times and could not get ahold of anybody

How did you figure which wire was which after you desoldered? I'm going to try this tonight. Thanks!
When I opened it up, only 1 had come undone. I wrote down the order of the wires, undid the rest, and resoldered them in the same order
