Anyone have any experience with them? They posted on craigslist and quoted me pretty cheap on a 60 gallon tank with overflow. The website is socalaquariums.com.

I believe it is global aquatics and I wouldn't buy live stock from them.

Not sure if it's them but I think they only sell aquariums and stands from the looks of their website. Anyway, I'll check them out probably on Friday and give a report later.

I just googled the address and I think its not the Global Aquatics. But it is the neighbor of it if Im not mistaken. I work down the street from Global Aquatics and I always feel bad for the livestock every time I look around in that shop. Anemone's in tanks with warehouse lighting, fishies looking sick, birdies unhappy. Its a waste of a big warehouse with full of tanks and live stock. The only healthy tank I saw there was the Nano Cube right before you walk into the warehouse.

That's good to know. I'm heading out there for lunch today to check out SocalAquariums. It's a long drive out but hopefully worth it.

Global Aquatics has so much potential. If the prices were lower ($45 for small Yellow tangs!!!) and they took care of their livestocks a little more then Global could be the ultimate LFS. This place is huge but so far it's a huge disapointment

I agree. The warehouse is specifically designed, plummed, and setup for a big fish warehouse. I just wish they focused on fishes and corals and not mix it with other animals e.g. birds, dogs, etc. Its one of those things that when you step into the warehouse your eyes get big and jaws drop because there are so many display tanks! But once you brows through the live stock and coral

gmr7494 pics of the tank after you pick it up!
