Thinking about getting one (small ) just not sure which one. I currently have a Blue tang, Yellow tang, Sailfin tang, Blonde Naso Tang.

Who has what, and how is it working out ?

Please be honest :)

Thanks

Yea they r both d***s.
I have 5 tangs a sohal, clown, blue, purple, and yellow
my sohal was the first in the tank and clown was last as for tangs go. Here's the peeking order
Sohal is the boss and that's for sure.
Clown is like 2nd in command.
Blue does his thing no one really messes with him.
Purple is the clowns and sohals beating toy. They are always chasing the purple around.
Yellow tries to play big fish every now and then and gets his *** handed to him so he plays nice for most part. Now, every now and then the clown will try to rise up in the ranks and take on the sohal, but he learns quick it ain't happening.
Side by side

Yea I know my glass is green I haven't cleaned it in like 10 days. To lazy.

Great pics ! Which one is your favorite ? What are their sizes ?
I really can't answer that question. I've had my sohal for 3 years and is a super cool fish not afraid of hands and lets me pet him and pick him up out of the water. He is like a member of the family. I talked to the wife about giving him to a club member and she got really upset with me. But he is getting really aggressive and is only around 6". The clown is a really pretty fish and was my all time favorite fish when I first got into the hobby. Also clowns can by a hard fish to keep alive in an aquarium and I've been able to keep one with 4 other tangs. The clown has started to get really aggressive as well and he's around 5".

Really I couldn't say from experience mine was 4 inches or so when I got him. But I will say b really careful on buying a clown tang from lps. I killed 6 of them over the last 15 years before I got the one I have now and I bought him from a fellow reefer.

I know years ago they used cyanide to capture clown tangs. I don't believe they practice this any more... I might be wrong ?? Does any body know if they still use cyanide ???
