So i noticed one of my zoa colonies start closing up. I first thought it was the water, but after checking all my levels seem to be fine. I then noticed on the one zoa plug that was closed there was something crawling on it. I first dismissed it as pods. Then a second and third zoa colony began to close. Now the only three plugs that had anything crawling on them were these three. I took out the frags and fresh water dipped them for like a minute and all these tiny worm like creatures came off it. Some were white/clearish and some brown. Im attaching a video as well, its kinda blurry but if you look careful you can see little worm like things crawling. Can anyone help ID them?

I will try to get a better video later tonight!

Thanks in advance for any help!

Now that i can actually see the video, I agree with the beanster...looks like a pod that's irritating the polyp moreso than actually eating it. Any better pics or video? And are you sure they are being eaten out?

OR.....maybe just maybe it's a copepod or amphlipod or walawalabingbangpod that's just being a little sh!t to your zoas and palys.

Also, in this early early morning 3am ish. Get a flash light and see if you can find any nudibranch. They will be the exact same color as your polyps, almost camouflaged. But they are very good escape artists and rarely are found.
