Has anyone noticed that Dollar General seems to only be stocking the "liquid" super glue and no longer stocking the "gel" iteration? I wonder if it's a temporary issue or if they'll cease carrying the gel. In any event, does anyone know an alternative source for inexpensive gel super glue?

Dollar tree is good if you are flying a few pieces. If you are aquaculture and need a lot. Big bottle is hard to beat. It’s not much cheaper wholesale either

I hate wasting 4/4 or more of a big bottle. But if you da a lot of frags it may be worth it. I use the harbor freight ones primarily.
I never have an issue with the BRS bottle. 2 extra tips are provided just in case the tip gets clogged, but I usually don’t even use them.

I don't know... I started with the Dollar Tree 2 pak. You can use 100% of it. I tried recently to use the Gorilla glue gel... The glue barely comes out with a fresh bottle. I may try the BRS one in the future.

Not to be argumentative but, I use Gorilla Glue gel all the time. It is the only gel I have used that I can put a dab on a plug it doesn't run at all and if I need to glue something under water it stays put. I have noticed that the glue can be a challenge to get out of the bottle though.

You really need to shake the holy crap out of the bottle before use to mix the cyanoacrylate and thickener/thinners. If you don't hear the liquid sloshing it the bottle you aren't shaking hard enough. After a good shake up for 60 seconds or so I do the swing out like it was an old bottle of ketchup(lid on of course) then you should be able to get a good flow and a nice dab of glue out.

Using this glue I have glued frags underwater and had them break the bases off when trying to remove them. While it can be tough to get out of the bottle it is my go to. I buy the large bottle 2 packs on Amazon.
