nice man...I think I am sold to after seeing enough tanks running leds..really like the options of colors on those radions...I think my 400w halides days are numbered..now I just need the boo koo bucks to shell out for them.
paul you and i both still have mh. i am starting to believe again myself. half my tank is led and half my tank is mh. they are both doing the same. i might just make the jump myself and go all out.

Yeah I have it all halide t5 and led. I like each one for a different reason. The halide shimmer is still the biggest reason to keep them. But having to run a chiller all year long and as soon as those halides come on its summer in my house. Getting tired of it. I think it's time

I'm kinda testing the water now before put all the corals in, after that I'll will ramp up the intensity lit by lit, it's fine if they brown out for now.

Thanks,
The old fixture will be on a 72x24x24" anemone only tank, haven't hooked up to the garage system yet but it will happen soon.

Looks good Jorge. Did you create your own custom schedule or import an EcoTech template?

BTW...I've got my lights down to 25% now. Most all my corals are good with the LEDs but a few are still not happy and very lite in color so I'm slowly going to bring the % up once they acclimate a little better.

Great idea on the custom plugs. I'm not sure what you made them out of but I heard that using cement mix leaches phosphates. That's why most people cut those types of bases off mariculture mini colonies that are being sold in LFSs.

I would mix it with coarse sand and how is the cement on leaching po4. Like those plugs!
Haven't noticed any Po4 problems so far, im not even using GFO.

Ecotech Template (Radiant).

people also cut the mariculture bases to get rid of the AEFW eggs and other pest.
According to jestersix never had any problems with this cement mix, any ways im keeping on eye my phosphates :)

Thanks Jonh, do u recommend mix R400 with some sand?
Sorry I didn't see this sooner. For fragging, I use straight R400, but for display I mix R400 with a nice aragonite sand (80% R400 and 20% sand) to give a nice texture. For Chalices and favias where I want a bit more texture I use a small amount of perlite to build up the texture...makes the plug look more like coral rock.
