specific gravity wonder higher ??

my tank has been set up and running for 3 months. I am dosing mag., buffer and calcium daily with top-off water and am able to keep parameters very stable. I started with specific gravity at 1.024 ...now its 1.025 ....why is it creeping up ??

Are you using a hydrometer? or a refractometer

there is no evaporation...i top off daily with dosing..

have you calibrated the refractometer lately?
also, if you are doing waterchanges there are going to be variances in your water from one mix to the next.
1.024-1.025 is nothing to worry about. 1.030, then you've got problems.
if you are concerned about it simply pull some water out and replace with RODI.

found the problem.....the refractometer need to be recalibrated.
