hello again everyone!

i have this Fiji rock for about 7 years now... i been having a white sponge grow on it? is there any easy way to take it off so it wont come out again?


...... maybe is time for me to retire this rock :( .... its so hard for me to do ... i;am extremely attached to it!


i did take it out 2-3 years ago i put it in acid and sun dried it . after that i washed it with ro water ... after 6-7 months in my system it came back.... any help is appreciated.

Can't you just manually pull it off? I've had the white branching type like that before... and it came off pretty easy. Grows fast though.

It does come out pretty easy.I just got tired of manually remove it often. The least amount of times I disturb the tank the better. Would you know of someting that would eat it? Preferably not a fish.

i hatedd that stuff... i would rip it out like once a month... mine was black, fading into white tips... eventually, i took the rock out, hit it with a bunch of paper towels, dried it up, then soaked it in i think bleach or peroxide... don't remember...



don't do what i did.. LOL... i can't remember what i used...
