Well as everyone knows Sps and led don't mix well together and want to know which additives I can use to get some of the color back. They are just less bold color and more pastel like colors

I dose potassium, Lugols, Elos amino acids. Have no idea if it even does anything. But hey I still dose it, because I saw a guy on the Internet say it works. Lol

I dose potassium because IO salt is low in it. I also dose SeaChem Aquavitro twice a week. Other than that, I feed my corals fish poo

Fish poop really does wonders for Sps. I feed my tank pellets 3 times a day with an auto feeder and once a day with frozen food. Keeps everyone really happy.

Sperm for bright purples.
That's awesome^^^ lol

I don't dose anything but the norm... cal, alk, and mag. I throw in some frozen coral food every once in a while. What LEDs are you using? Ever since I switched from halides to radions my corals have grown and colored up more than ever...

Are you running bio pellets and what are your phosphates at? I noticed that if I had my phosphates at zero my colors were pale. I now keep them around .02 and my colors are becoming richer. Or it's because I also started to dose elos amino acids and the Red Sea color program. One of those is working.

Only experts here that I know of is Mike and Wayne. Both have the quality all of us want and have not attained.

Sounds to me that all you need is to feed your fish and understand balances in feeding and nutrient export.

Obviously once you comprehend those basics and you want deeper coloration you will ultimately use additives to achieve "Mother Nature's Paint Brush."

It's not always about supplements, it's about lighting as well. In my old aquascape, I had my shades of the fall up high and in about 500 PAR and the colors were decent, but after my aquascape, I moved it to an area with about 200 PAR and it's the best colors I've ever seen from it. Same with a tort I have. I had it in high light and the colors were good but I thought it liked low light so I put it low in the tank and color went downhill.

Space is premium right now in my tank. I've learned from the past not to put frags on top of each other and give them room to grow.
