I had an evil female squareback... It may have been changing male but never turned color. It chased a lineatus I had to death... I gave it to a buddy (warned him) and it killed his lineatus wrasse too. Sorry not sayin yours will just brought back expensive memories. Good luck they are beautiful.

So far, they are both docile. I was worried my rose head fairy wrasse and mystery wrasse might be jerks, but they are behaving so far. Thanks for the info tho!
Update, the male is eating now and very little issues with the tankmates, hopefully they get enough food (have to feed 3 times a day) and they flourish. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
