I'm not too terribly active compared to the other nano reef fourm but I met some local reefers here at Socalireefs and they wondered what my tank looks like. So, here it is:

Old FTS taken January. Never had the time to take a recent one:

Some shaky close up shots of my corals:

Nice collection you got there, they always melt on me.
Thanks. On the flip size, zoas/palys are pretty darn tough to keep IME.

Nice collection, but what are the containers for?
The one on the left has a ricordea that was loose so I put it inside those containers with some rubble rock. Took about 2 weeks to get it attached to the rubble.

Now thats what I call a garden. Keep up the nice work!
Thanks! I picked up a few more and I'm planning to expand my garden even further. Planning on taking more pics soon.

Nice rics and killer photos!
Thanks nex!

If it's not melting on you, then you can probably try again and get more. Seems like everyone is having a sale for them right now.

I updated my thread at NR and I forgot to update this thread too....

Here's some pics of my tank and the 'shrooms I've amassed so far:

FTS as of 8/30/2014

Some of the new mushrooms:

^The bright orange one came from BeanMachine and those are my favorites

...and I should learn how to take better pics and learn photoshop or lightroom.

Wow love the variation of color on the rics!

So....what do shrooms soak up the most from the your water column? I've always had problems with them shriveling up so just curious.

When a mushroom shrivels up, it usually means you're blasting them with too much light, infection, or too much flow. I have a few mushrooms that are picky about placement so I put them in a location where they're happy.

The one mushroom specie I have trouble with is a hot pink Ricordea yuma. My other R. yumas are doing fine (but they're all tank established before unlike the hot pink yuma).

I'm glad you got them, cause now I got some awesome shroom. Now I just gotta wait for your other fuzzy shroom....

U have the same oranges one but mine have morphed over time.
I wonder what caused them to morph like that. Though that looks cool either way.

Some of them are attached to rubble rocks and then I shave as much rubble off as I can, then I glue them on. Others are attached to frag plugs and I try to cut off as much as I can before I attach them to the rocks.

Good thing we live in socal, Igotcorals and CoC have plenty of rics.
