Just to be clear, it has been brought to my attention that I was clumsy in my writing of the rules. You have until midnight tonight (Saturday) to post your "first day" photos.

I know some people work a lot of hours, myself included and I wanted to be sure everyone had an opportunity to take their time positioning and photographing their coral.

During October for the introduction was because I wanted to allow people time to do a nice write up introduction

Hi everyone!

I picked up my frag from Dave on Thursday and it has survived the transfer so far.

My tank is pretty new (started cycle February 2020). It was started with dry rock and is bare bottom so it's going through a lot of its ugly stage right now. Despite this, I have some easier SPS growing along side all the uglies.

Tank Specs:
120g SCA w/ Trigger Sapphire sump
36 inch Aquatic Life T5 Hybrid w/ 2 Radion G4 XR15 Pros, 2x Blue Plus, 2x Actinic
Tunze 9410 DC Skimmer
Santa Monica Rain 2 Algae Scrubber

Water Parameters:
Nitrate - 10-20 ppm
Phosphate - Undetectable to 0.04
Alk - Still dialing in, but try to keep at 7.5
CA - High right now at 535 ish

Just for clarity I noticed some 'from above picts' but in looking thru the rules for this contest I don't see it required. The color up one does but not this one?
This is correct. just a photo with the ruler in close proximity and preferably with the MM scale closest to the frag.

GET YOUR RULER PHOTO IN BY MIDNIGHT TONIGHT

GET YOUR INTRODUCTION POST IN WITH FTS BY THE END OF OCTOBER.

It's fine and probably easier on me if those are combined.

I don't want anybody DQed but the rules are the rules and there can be some wiggle room but the intent is to keep it fair for everyone

Ya know, the rules state that you need to submit a FTS in an introduction post by the end of October..... do you need me to loan you an fisheye wide angle lens? LOL
Tank is 20’x4’ and 14” deep.
Alternating flow approx 8-12” per second
Alk 8-10 Ca 450-500 PAR is 30% sun at 33* latitude
Feeding Nori, Bakers yeast and Acropower daily.

👍🏻
