could I do a double growth entry? interested to see what happens in high nutrient LPS t5 tank, low flow (12 years established) versus low nutrient LED 2.0g pico higher flow (started in feb 2020)

and please give your tank perams, coral location, par etc (not that I know par in either of my tanks) prior to fragging pls.

Wow, this has been even more work than I had expected.

Ok, updated sheet. There is one person who said they were in the color up but I never got any 411 from him so I'll assume he's out. There's 1 opening or as it stands the contest if 5 way with a $500 payout

One or 2 I'm hot 100% sure of on the grow out but if all 15 get entered, the payout will be $225

If you paid venmo, worry not. that money has not been updated yet but my wife has informed me of a few who have paid but I need to be methodical so I don't Eff this whole thing up.

See latest spreadsheet update because it says where your frag will be I will be cutting mounting and distributing today. You should pickup tomorrow

Rule addendum for grow out contest.

if you need to change positions or tanks, post 1 photo within 2 days prior of the move with an explanation of why you need to move it and another photo of it’s new position within 2 days of having placed it. New and old photos should be no more than 4 days apart and both with the ruler.

LA Pick UPS - I didn't get home with the frags till late Sat night. They are sitting happily on the bottom of my display tank (Not outside in the sun).

I'm retired and home all the time. So whomever is picking up from me, my schedule is very open.

I'm in Encino where the 405/101 cross.

For those that PM'd me about coming over to pick up and want to buy other corals from me - I do NOT sell. I am happy to give corals away.

And if you want the fancy crap, with the BS Names and crazy colors, I have a 1000 of those as well and I am happy to trade.

But the only money I am taking is for Mark for the Coral Contest.

I know this about you and I did overstep when I said you would accept money for the contest.

Thank you for accommodating me and the contest.

Anyone confused buy this, I'll put it simply: Dave gives corals away, very nice ones and very generously. He's done it for decades. I don't think he has ever accepted a penny for a coral from his system. Dave gives them away to people he has never met before.

Hi All,
Picked up the Astera and Rainbow Blossom from Steve. Unfortunately, the Astera did not make it . The Rainbow Blossom seems to be doing OK at the bottom of the tank for now. I am hoping for better luck with the blossom .

Hi All,
Picked up the Astera and Rainbow Blossom from Steve. Unfortunately, the Astera did not make it . The Rainbow Blossom seems to be doing OK at the bottom of the tank for now. I am hoping for better luck with the blossom .

picked mine up from steve about an hour ago and broke my car on way home (window regulator broke and window fell down into door, hopefully didnt crack.) gotta go fix that now...

I guess I fail at being the 1st to kill my frag as Tom won that honor

I am seeing some white at base of my frag as I went to put in tank... hope its just from fragging/glue... 5 mins in tank...

I picked up my today and when I got home my piece was bleached out. I immediately contact Steve and he was happy to replace it. Luckily i was only 10 min away from Steve.

Mine still alive (thanks for holding for pick-up steve). got a tiny white spot on it near base so did a coral rx dip. If it happens to not survive I'll be out as given my dumbass schedule idk when i could re-pickup.

(fyi got the window fixed, thankfully glass was not cracked after falling inside door and I had pieces to fix regulator in my car part hoard)
